Private Training
Group classes not for you?
If our scheduled classes don’t fit with your schedule, we can still get you up and running! We can tailor programmes for you if you have issues that prevent you from joining a group class, including age, weight, or injury recovery. We’ll also work with those of you who’ve already started running and have hit a lull, or have been stung by one too many beginners’ injuries.
Running is a great way for busy people to make exercise part of a healthy lifestyle, so we’re happy to be flexible.
We offer two basic options, always tailored to your needs and goals. Pricing depends what you want, so contact us for a quote if you’re interested.
Private consultation
This is a once-off intensive session that covers everything we do in the 8-week class, only lightning fast! We cover warming up, running, pacing, breathing, stretching, core and any other supporting exercises. We can also include anything you like, such as basic diet and nutrition guidance, injury care and prevention, or any other issues you’d like to address. And because we know it can be tough to stay motivated after a single session, you’ll get a personalised programme, supported by online and phone coaching until you meet your goal.
This is a great option if you’ve already started running on your own but are struggling, finding you’re achy when you shouldn’t be, or you’ve hit a dreaded plateau. Private consultations can be done with a friend, if you like, but on your own or with a buddy, you’ll have our full attention.
Private classes
These are done on your own, or you can do them with a friend or small group. We’ll meet one to three times per week for sessions that are tailored just for your needs and goals. The focus is on running, of course, but if you want to include other types of training, we can design a more varied programme to follow.
We always get to know our clients, even in the group classes, so you’ll never be ignored, but if you feel you would like more individual attention on a regular basis, this option might be for you.
If neither of these is suitable, we can design a tailor-made fitness package that meets your needs.
